How Green is the GL-350 System?
The components that make up the GL 350 system have all of the qualities essential in achieving LEED certification. Our drywall, steel and vinyl all meet or surpass the recommended levels of VOC and recycled materials. Not to mention the reusability of the product. With the emphasis on the environment these days everyone is jumping on the band wagon trying to change the way they do business, change the materials the use in their products. I am proud to say we have done nothing to change what we do or the product we sell. This is because the GL-350 System was “Green” before green was in. A quarter of a century ago Gravitylock designed their system with any eye toward environment responsibility. They felt there had to be a change in the way interiors were being built. They felt that reusable materials would not only save people money but keep the amount of trash going to landfills down. The GL 350 system has not needed to be altered since the day of it was conceived. Use the time tested GL-350 drywall replacement system, it not only will help you with you LEED certification but it will also make your future reconfigurations fast, and easy.

Drywall
Our Dry wall uses 100% recycled paper for face and back paper
The need for newly mined gypsum is greatly reduced by reused recycled gypsum (30% in each board) and the recapturing of 99% of reclaimed plant waste. The combination of these two sources with a lesser than normal amount of new gypsum creates a “greener” board.
